Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a complex medical system which was developed in China more than 4000 years ago and is still practiced today. TCM is influenced by taoism, confucianism and buddhism. Observations in nature provided the theoretical foundations which remain an integral part of this practice.

The diagnostic methods used, which seem quite simple linguistically, also allow us to capture and analyse more recent and complex pathologies. TCM’s highest priority is to prevent diseases which are caused by an imbalance of energies.

TCM’s differentiated medical diagnostic methods make it possible to recognise these energetic imbalances before serious disruptions occur. Suitable therapeutic measures are applied in order to help the body reestablish its harmonious state. TCM is also very valuable in cases where a disease or injury has already occurred.
